  I loved the wait staff and the atmosphere and the food was fabulous. The wild rice chicken soup was delightful and filling. The make your own salad offered some great choices and I built one that was magnificent. I would recommend and come back again.

  Ate here twice while visiting for business. Good menu, very nice staff. However, pet peeve of mine is when restaurants try to nickel and dime you. I ordered a steak dinner, so not a cheap tab, but when I asked for a side of dressing they charged me. I questioned the waitress, who was very courteous, and politely told me it was "policy". I could tell she was embarrassed charging me for that when my dinner was over $30 not including drinks. That tells me there is no good explanation, and they don't give their staff the ability to do what they think is fair on their own.

  I ordered a salad and it was wonderful! It took a little while for the server to order our drinks and bring them out. It took awhile for her to come back and ask for any refills as well. The prices good, especially for the quality of the food. It's a laid back, yet comfortable environment.

  Do yourself a favor and VISIT THIS PLACE!!
  This was my 3rd time at The Tavern and just as the times previous, service was prompt, friendly, and professional. The food was EXCELLENT, and the price was fair. If you enjoy seafood try the Calamari appetizer! My GOD is it good!
  
  Every time I visit I'm always excited to come back! Well done, crew!
